The Guangzhou Port Group announced on June 1 that its wholly-owned subsidiary logistics company is investing 1,665.33 million yuan in constructing Guangzhou Nansha International Logistics Center’s North Zone. The center will provide full logistics service, including sea-rail transport, at the Nansha Port Area to facilitate the port’s international shipments.

Covering a land area of 320,000 square meters designated by the Nansha district government, the port-side logistics center is located behind the container terminal of Nansha phase III construction project and is divided into two zones by the terminal’s exit gate. The Guangzhou Port Group obtained the land’s use right through an auction in 2016.

Designed as a distribution center and container freight station, the North Zone will manage sea-rail transport and serve e-commerce companies and third party logistics, handling mainly daily consumer goods, production supplies and material. The North Zone project covers 167,662 square meters, 96,000 square meters for railway purpose and 71,647 square meters for construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in June of 2020.

      中证网讯 广州港(601228)?6月1日晚间公告,为适应广州建设国际航运中心的战略性规划,打造海铁联运物流运输的综合服务型物流园区,促进南沙港区内外贸集装箱班轮航线的快速发展需要,公司拟由下属物流公司(全资子公司)投资建设广州南沙国际物流中心(北区)项目,项目总投资规模 166,533 万元。

      据介绍,为提高南沙港区的综合物流服务水平,广州市南沙区政府在公司南沙三期集装箱码头陆域后方规划了约 32 万平方米土地用于临港物流园区建设。该地块被南沙三期码头出闸口分隔为南北两个区域。公司于 2016 年通过竞拍取得该地块土地使用权。

      其中,广州南沙国际物流中心(北区)项目用地 167662 ㎡,其中包含铁路用地 96000 ㎡,可建设用地 71647 ㎡。 项目以民用日常消费品作为主要货物类型,同时包 括生产类用品和原材料。该项目的项目功能定位为满足海铁联运物流运输,同时 面向电商和第三方物流开展 DC、CFS 业务的综合服务型物流园区——即具有海铁联运功能的综合物流园。 本项目预计 2018 年 11 月开工建设,2020 年 6 月竣工交付使用。
